Businesses must ensure these areas are free of obstructions and equipped with fire-resistant materials.
3. Fire Extinguishers & Detection Only KFF-approved extinguishers and detectors are permitted.
Monthly testing and annual servicing are required.
4. Licensing & Reporting Businesses must renew fire safety licenses annually.
Submission of monthly safety reports to KFF is now mandatory.
5. Emergency Preparedness Evacuation plans must be updated and practiced twice yearly.
Staff training on extinguisher use, evacuation, and emergency reporting is compulsory.
6. Electrical & HVAC Safety Regular inspections of wiring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems are required.
Overloaded circuits and poorly maintained AC units are now considered violations.
